Si sa che questa gara attira il maggior numero di partecipanti all'inizio delle stagioni olimpiche, ma, nonostante i prossimi Giochi siano ben lontani, anche questa edizione è stata onorata dalla presenza di quasi 60 atleti provenienti da 4 Nazioni diverse (Austria, Germania, USA ed Italia)

La Nazionale Italiana si è presentata quasi al completo sia nella categoria junior, sia in quella senior, in cui hanno dato forfait solo Andrea Vötter, reduce da un doppio intervento alle spalle in primavera ed i veterani Oberstolz/Gruber.
I vincitori dell'edizione 2014, Dominik Fischnaller nel singolo e Rieder/Rastner nel doppio, hanno confermato il proprio predominio sulla pista di casa.
Alle spalle di Fischnaller da registrarsi qualche sorpresa, visto che a completare il podio sono stati due atleti che abitualmente sono "secondi" in equipaggi di doppio: Patrick Rastner secondo e Simon Kainzwaldner terzo.
Soltanto sesto Wolfgang Kindl, austriaco, terzo nella classifica generale di Coppa del Mondo 2014/15 e medaglia di bronzo ai Mondiali 2015 di Sigulda.
La gara è stata anche occasione per festeggiare la fine della carriera agonistica di David Mair, che è sceso in pista con i tradizionali Lederhose tirolesi.

The Italian National Team was present almost complete both in the Junior and in the Senior category, in which were absent just Andrea Vötter, back from a double shoulder surgery in spring and the veterans Oberstolz / Gruber.
The winners of last edition, Dominik Fischnaller in single and Rieder/Rastner in double, have confirmed their supremacy on their home track.
Behind Fischnaller to register some surprises, since completing the podium were two athletes who usually are "seconds" in double's crews: Patrick Rastner second and Simon Kainzwaldner third.
Just sixth Wolfgang Kindl, Austrian, third in the overall World Cup 2014/15 and bronze medalist at the 2015 World Championships in Sigulda.
The race was also an occasion to celebrate the end of David Mair's athletic career, who was on track with the traditional Tyrolean Lederhose.
